Paul founded Blaze Image in 2002, continuing a hugely successful career in photographic printing, which began in 1973, when he started the iconic Push One photo lab in Chelsea.
With a lifelong love of photography, and influenced by some of the great, seminal American photo labs, he has built up an unprecedented wealth of knowledge within the print industry.
His firm belief is that the best photographic printing comes from knowing your own equipment and paying close attention to detail:
“Film and paper have their own characteristics. What we do is match their special requirements. Why should you come to us? Why do you go to a tailor instead of getting something off the peg?”
With Paul's business partner Ben a fine art photographer in his own right, their collective experience means that they are uniquely positioned to understand photographic printing from both the client and service side.
Sharing the same philosophy, they bring a dedicated passion to Blaze Image, helping clients to get the utmost from their own work, whilst providing them with a unique and exceptional print service.
